Working Speed Analysis of the Gear-Driven Dibbling Mechanism of a 2.6 kW Walking-Type Automatic Pepper Transplanter

The development of an automatic walking-type pepper transplanter could be effective in improving the mechanization rate cultivation, where dibbling mechanism plays a vital role and determines planting performance efficiency. objective this research was to determine suitable working speed for gear-driven appropriate transplanter, while considering agronomic transplanting requirements. proposed consisted two hoppers that simultaneously collected free-falling seedlings from supply dibbled them into soil. To enable smooth collection plantation seedlings, analysis carried out via mathematical trajectory model mechanism, virtual prototype simulation, validation tests, using physical prototype.
